Committed to sustainable skills development
Compliance with Skills Development Legislation and SETA regulations, in order to maximize skills grants, is a business imperative. Added to this is the need to be an active role-player in the SETA structures, in order to inform and influence policy frameworks, but also to facilitate increased collaboration with Government, in order to alleviate skills shortages.
IMPERIAL Logistics is fully compliant with the Skills Development Legislative framework and participates actively in a range of SETA’s. The Group’s operating entities have been submitting workplace skills plans and annual training reports to the SETAs, from the inception of the Skills Development Legislation. We partake in the mandatory, as well as discretionary grant schemes and are an active stakeholder within the Transport SETA with representation on the Chamber Management Structures, SETA board level as well as various SETA sub-committees.
IMPERIAL Logistics has a number of accredited 'Skills Development Facilitators' that are registered with the Transport SETA, as well as some registered in-house assessors and moderators.
